Swing Into Summer
Castle Rock needed a golf ball package design for their charity event, "Swing Into Summer", where participants play golf at midnight with glow-in-the dark golf balls.
Castle Rock Golf Course hosts an annual charity event called "Swing Into Summer." All the proceeds of the event are donated to local food pantries. Participants of the event play a round of golf at midnight with the assistance of red glow-in-the-dark golf balls.
Castle Rock wanted a package designed for the event with all the pertinent information about the event on the package and an image of a golf ball that could be embossed for a 3D effect.
The design I went with has an overall glow-in-the-dark theme. I constructed a pattern made out of golf tees that is intended to be printed with a spot varnish or a glow-in-the-dark ink. The package acts as a carousel and depicts a silhouette figure going through the motions of a golf swing. I used bright neon reds and blues to make the figures appear to be glowing.
