About Me

I am entering my final semester in the Design and Graphic Technology program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. The program has been very rewarding and has allowed me to reinforce my technical skills while also enhancing my knowledge of design principles.

The assigned coursework focuses on mastering three main Adobe applications; Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Although, I am well-versed in all three, I prefer to work with Illustrator. My favored disciplines are package design and logo design. I am also fond of layout design, but I loathe setting large bodies of text. Not to say that I don't appreciate typography, but that it is a point of improvement for myself. One of my strong attributes is that I am a knowledge seeker and very self-motivated. If I feel I am lacking in a particular area, I don't shy away from it, I will push myself to master it. I live by the philosophy, "live like there is no tomorrow and learn like you will live forever."

After graduation, I hope to find employment that allows me to make design element decisions based on a client's wants and needs. I don't boast to be socially apt, but direct communication with clients is ideal. I also seek an environment where I can work collaboratively or receive peer feedback on my work.
